The nightmare of translating design into a shirt that lasts.

I have been doing a lot of testing lately. My son came home from a 30 day exercise in the California desert with one of my reflective wing shirts and it looked like it had been through a shredder. I guess after 30 days of laying on his back in the sand, I should have been glad to see there was any design left, but I want a shirt that will last as long as possible. I want the great designs that I'm making for our soldiers to make it through the deployment and beyond. So - lots of testing, adjusting, compromising on using my reflective vinyl (which I think is so cool) and redesigning for less layers, less chance for peeling. The struggle is real. ;-)
